Special-area liposuction: small areas, big difference
The collarbone, shoulder line, 'hump', Y-zone, lower arm, knees — areas where a tiny amount of fat changes the whole silhouette. These need a surgeon's precision more than any machine.
Areas we treat
Why detail areas are difficult
In small areas the difference between "refined" and "hollow" is only a few millilitres. We use thin, round-tipped micro-cannulas through minimal incisions, and combine power-assisted liposuction (PAL), water-assisted liposuction (WAL) and a hand-finished final pass to keep lines smooth. Success here depends on the surgeon's experience — which is why every BBAE procedure is done by one of our three fat specialists.
Procedure at a glance
- ~1 hour Under sleep anesthesia
- No hospital stay Go back to your hotel the same day
- Next day Return to light daily activity
- No suture removal Tiny incisions heal on their own
Special areas are often added to a main area — for example knees with thighs, or the hump with upper body liposuction.
Frequently asked questions
Can special areas be done on their own?
Yes, though many patients add them to a larger area for a complete line.
Is knee liposuction worth it?
For fat above and inside the knee, it can make the leg line noticeably straighter.
How much does it cost?
Small areas are priced individually and cost less when combined with another area. Send photos for an estimate.
How soon can I fly?
Often 3–5 days after surgery, once checked.
