When injections make sense
If you have a very small pocket of fat — a slight double chin, for example — and you don't want surgery at all, injections can help over several sessions. They're also used for fine-tuning.
When liposuction is the better choice
For arms, abdomen, thighs, back, or a pronounced double chin, liposuction removes much more fat in one session with sculpted control. Over several injection sessions, costs can add up to a large share of the cost of surgery — with less result. For international patients, one trip is also far more practical than returning every few weeks.
